What you can expect

  • Start your journey early in the morning to witness one of the Amazon’s most fascinating natural spectacles: the Parrot Clay Lick at sunrise. As dawn breaks, hundreds of parrots, parakeets, and macaws gather in large flocks, creating a vibrant display of sound and colour before descending to feed on the mineral-rich clay. This unique behaviour helps them neutralize toxins from their diet and is only observed at this special moment of the day.

Guided by experienced naturalists, you will learn about the ecology and habits of these extraordinary birds while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the rainforest awakening at sunrise.

After experiencing this dazzling event, continue the adventure with a relaxing boat ride along the Tambopata River. Here, you will have the chance to spot sloths resting on treetops, as well as other wildlife such as caimans, and exotic birds.

This unforgettable morning combines spectacular wildlife observation with the peaceful beauty of the Amazon at dawn.
