What you can expect
Starry Night — Night Kayak Nature Adventure
Enjoy the cool evening breeze and the calm, magical feeling of being on the water after dark. With no need for sun cream or hats, this night paddle is a perfect escape after work—or for anyone who prefers the comfort of cooler temperatures over the midday sun.
Your adventure begins just before sunset (around 5:00–6:00 pm). As daylight fades, the sea takes on a whole new personality: gentle ripples, glowing reflections, and the quiet hum of coastal life settling into the night. Each kayak is equipped with a marine navigation light visible from over 2 nautical miles, plus a waterproof headlamp—so you can paddle comfortably and safely throughout the evening.
One of the highlights of this trip is kayaking around Singapore’s last remaining floating homes and fisheries—known as kelongs. These traditional sea-based structures are part of a rare living heritage, surrounded by underwater habitats that attract marine life and create an incredibly atmospheric setting at night. If you’re lucky, the kelong residents may even invite you up for a quick chat or a cup of tea, offering a special glimpse into Singapore’s maritime past.
To round off the evening, we end the trip the best way possible: with a freshly prepared meal by the beach at a quiet seaside spot on Pulau Ubin. Simple, hearty, and cooked on-site in rustic island style—this warm beachside meal is the perfect finish to a night of nature, heritage, and discove
