Embark on a unique adventure on the highest navigable lake in the world: the majestic Lake Titicaca. This full-day tour will take you to discover the magical Floating Islands of the Uros, where you'll learn about the ancestral life of a community that has lived alongside the waters for centuries.
Then, let yourself be surprised by the island of Taquile, a place full of traditions, impressive landscapes, and a textile culture declared a World Heritage Site. All accompanied by an expert guide in Spanish and English who will reveal the secrets and legends of this fascinating destination.
7:30 am: We'll pick you up from your hotel or the bus station.
8:00 a.m. Departure to the Uros floating islands. 8:20 a.m. Arrival at the Uros island, where you'll visit two floating islands. The guide will give you information about the construction of these artificial islands for about 20 minutes. Then you'll have free time to buy some crafts or take a ride in a handmade totora boat (optional). After that, you'll continue the trip to Taquile Island.
11:00 a.m. Arrival at the pier in the north of the island. Upon arrival, the group will enjoy a one-hour walk to the village. On the way, the guide will explain the traditions and life on the island.
12:15 p.m. Arrival in the main town of Taquile. You'll visit the main square
and the Artisan market. At 12:00 p.m., lunch at a restaurant chosen by the guide. After lunch, you'll have free time to
a little tour on your own.
2:30 pm: Head back to Puno from the main pier (538 steps down).
4:00 pm Arrival in Puno, where a transport will be waiting to take you to your hotels.
