quad bike Tour through the Red Valley to Rainbow Mountain – 1 Day

Our adventure begins early, between 4:00 and 4:40 a.m., with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel by tourist transport south, on a route of approximately 3 hours (in between we are going to make a stop for breakfast), to the starting point in the area, at around 4,600 metres above sea level.

Upon arrival, the guide will provide a briefing on how to safely use the ATVs (quad bikes) and will distribute safety equipment (helmets and gloves). After that, we will have a short practice session to ensure everyone is comfortable with handling the vehicle before we begin the ride.

We will then start the quad bike ride towards the rainbow mountain, which is approximately 30 - 40 minutes, crossing the stunning landscapes of the Red Valley. Along the way, we will make stops for photos and to admire the Andean scenery. Once we arrive at the drop-off point, we will begin a short 25 to 35-minute hike to reach the famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), located over 5,000 metres above sea level.

Once at the summit, you will have free time to enjoy the breathtaking views and take photographs. From here, you will also be able to observe parts of the colourful Red Valley from nearby natural viewpoints. Afterwards, we will begin the return hike to the ATVs and head back through the same route.

After the quad bike ride, We will then begin the return journey to Cusco, we are going to make a stop for lunch at a restaurant, we will be arriving around 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. the tour ends on Regocijo Square
