In the evening, unwind with access to the hacienda’s jacuzzi and traditional temazcal (steam lodge) - a soothing ritual to relax your muscles after a day of exploration.
The next morning, after a well-deserved rest, explore the breathtaking Cotopaxi National Park. Walk around the scenic Limpiopungo Lagoon, with views of the towering volcano as your backdrop. If conditions and energy allow, continue up to the José Rivas Refuge for a short high-altitude hike and panoramic views.
Your adventure continues with a visit to a local rose plantation near Machachi, where you'll learn why Ecuadorian roses are famous worldwide. Stroll through vibrant greenhouses and get a behind-the-scenes look at the cultivation and export process.
Next, head to Hostería Papagayo for a delicious lunch, followed by a cheese tasting experience. Discover the artisanal process behind their locally made cheeses and enjoy fresh samples surrounded by Andean charm. In the late afternoon, you return to Quito.
