What you can expect

  • Food is only the beginning. The Requiem brings twelve courses, music, narrative and the setting of Five Seasons together in one immersive experience near Ragusa.

    An original score reaches you through wireless headphones as the evening unfolds around the table. The menu draws on Sicilian ingredients and Nordic cooking, with each course forming part of the work. Allow approximately four hours for the complete experience.

    There is no audience participation. You remain a guest throughout. The narrative explores memory, grief, loss and transformation; guests should be comfortable with an emotionally intense evening and extended listening through headphones.

    The Requiem is offered on the last Saturday of each month at 18:00 for up to twelve guests. Check the booking calendar for available dates and plan your visit around this special monthly evening.

    The ticket includes the twelve-course menu, hosted experience, wireless headphones and filtered water. Wine and zero-proof pairings are optional, chosen and paid for on arrival. You can enjoy the complete experience without purchasing a pairing.

    Five Seasons is in the countryside near Ragusa. Arrange your outward and return journeys in advance. Guests staying in Ragusa Ibla or Marina di Ragusa can plan an evening outing; from Noto, allow for a longer journey. Transport is not included.
