What you can expect

Enjoy a well-rounded cultural experience in Rethymno that combines a guided tour and a creative workshop. Together with a local certified guide-archaeologist, you will tour the historic old town for an hour and a half and discover its multi-layered history through its narrow alleys and unique atmosphere. You will get to know important Venetian and Ottoman monuments, as well as newer elements of the city, understanding its development in a lively and accessible way.

The experience continues in an art workshop, where you will be welcomed in a space full of colour and inspiration. With no prior experience required, you will participate in a short, half-hour experiential workshop and create your own handmade bookmark, a unique souvenir from your trip to Rethymno.

During the workshop, you will enjoy a traditional treat, such as raki or a cool juice, experiencing authentic Cretan hospitality. At the end, you will take your personal creation with you in protective packaging.

This experience combines history, culture, and creativity in an authentic introduction to Rethymno and is offered either in a small group or as a private experience.
