Relaxing outing – Étang-Salé-les-Bains (about 3 hours)
We'll cast off and sail along the wild coast: blowhole, cave, bird cliff, volcanic flows, and a coral reef on the horizon. On the way, depending on luck and the season, you can see dolphins, turtles, flying fish, and, from around June to October, whales. Responsible observation (nature is unpredictable, so we can't guarantee whale sightings on every trip).
Stop at a sheltered spot for a snorkel swim (fins-mask-snorkel) only for those who wish to. Underwater: basalt bottoms, coral heads, clouds of damselfish, surgeons, sometimes turtles. Duration depends on conditions and levels.
After swimming: a real relaxing moment on board. Comfortable seating, soft music, and cocktails. We'll share anecdotes about geology, wildlife, local maritime history, and reef life.
Return: if the sea allows it and if the group wants to, we'll have a more dynamic ride with some safe, fun accelerations. Otherwise, it'll be a zen return.
Spirit of the outing:
Small group, friendly atmosphere, nature first. Strictly adhere to distances, angles, and approach times. No chasing, no encircling. The captain adjusts the route, pace, and speed based on the weather, sea conditions, and the presence of animals.
