Our sailing catamaran tour starts at Marina da Glória, where we set sail to explore the beauty of Guanabara Bay. We navigate the calm waters, passing by iconic landmarks such as Sugarloaf Mountain and the historical Forts of Rio de Janeiro.

We then head towards the paradisiacal Adão and Eva beaches, where we stop for perfect photo opportunities and, of course, a refreshing swim for those who wish to dive in!

Next, we cross the bay to the impressive Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) in Niterói, an architectural masterpiece by Oscar Niemeyer, offering a unique view of its futuristic design. On our way back, the highlight is the Santos Dumont Airport, where we sail close to the flight path, making the scenery even more thrilling.

1.A new boat : Velas do Rio catamaran is a new boat manufactured in 2022 and launched in 2023. We take great care to ensure it is always immaculate for you!
2.Stability: Velas do Rio boat is a catamaran sailboat, meaning it has two hulls and is much wider than a monohull sailboat. It is therefore significantly more stable than many other boats, including motorboats, providing a greater navigation experience and making it an ideal platform for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery, a good swim or just savour the delights we serve on board.
3.Space: Our catamaran offers ample internal and external space. With two hulls, the living area in the cockpit is sheltered and very spacious, and it even has saltwater and freshwater showers. At the front of the boat, the space is fantastic with two large nets and plenty of opportunities to lie down and sit throughout the bow area. Just like in the cockpit, the bow also has freshwater and saltwater showers.
4.Speed: Our catamaran performs excellently and with a soft crosswind, it easily reaches +7 knots. The pleasure of the engines turned off and the boat gliding silently with just the sails is indescribable!
5.Safety: Our boat has 2 new Yanmar engines, which offer important redundancy and ideal maneuverability to navigate in tight spaces.
