Description

Venture out of Dublin for a day spent soaking in the history and scenery of Ireland among the emerald hills of the south. Visit medieval Blarney Castle, explore cosmopolitan, riverside Cork at your leisure, and stop to see the centuries-old structures atop one of Ireland's wonders—the Rock of Cashel.

Meet your guide and fellow adventurers in central Dublin and head out of town, passing through the horse-dotted pastures of the Curragh in County Kildare. This region is absolutely perfect for breeding and training horses.

From there, make your way to Blarney Castle, where legends abound. Lay down to kiss the Blarney Stone in exchange for the gift of gab if you'd like, or absorb some of the mystical energy of the Wishing Steps, walking up and down with your eyes closed in hopes of having your wish come true.

Visit Cork, Ireland’s second largest city, known as the ‘Rebel City’, take time to explore its vibrant Irish atmosphere. Here in Cork you will be met by a local guide who will bring you on a walking tour throughout the city. Discover the history and the famous places Cork has to boast. If you have time, make sure to visit The English Market which has plenty of Irish produce food to choose from. Following your guided tour of the city you will have some time to explore and sample some local cuisine.

We will arrive at one of Ireland’s 7 Wonders - the Rock of Cashel! Here we’ll explore the Hall of Vicars, Cormack’s Chapel, Celtic Cathedral, Round Tower, and the surrounding grounds filled with ancient high crosses! In addition, you’ll have the marvellous opportunity to gaze upon one of Ireland’s oldest Romanesque wall paintings inside the world-famous historical landmark!

Would definitely recommend this to anyone. The Castle is well taken care of is fairly easy for most anyone to get around and see it all. Took lots of pictures and loved it all. Blarney Castle was also amazing. Could not go up to kiss the Blarney Stone but still enjoyed it anyway. Was thrilling to be there.
