  • We look forward to welcoming you for a wonderful cooking lesson at Villa Serra di Comago in Genoa, dating back to the 16th century and built in the Tudor style.
    Together with Chef Tiziana, you will learn to prepare traditional Genoese dishes such as mortar-made pesto, gnocchi, Genoese focaccia, and the famous Recco-style cheese focaccia upon request. Delicious desserts like tiramisu or Genoese pandolce are also available upon request.
    Villa Serra is the perfect venue for bachelor or hen nights, birthdays, and especially for team building.
    Book your cooking class or event in advance; Tiziana the chef and the staff are waiting for you! Nestled in the green heart of the Villa, the atmosphere is lovely year-round and incredibly relaxing and romantic—a true historical jewel.
    We'll have fun making authentic Genoese pesto together—to be enjoyed with focaccia and Prosecco—and then, in the large kitchen, we'll prepare authentic medieval-style gnocchi. Book your spot in time!

Activity itinerary

Upon arrival, guests will admire 700 hectares of lush parkland, with centuries-old trees, including oriental ones, a magnificent pond with black and white swans, and a unique collection of hydrangeas. They will enter the Villa's halls where Tiziana awaits them with all the materials they need to cook together. She will welcome them with a welcome aperitif, and immediately afterwards, the lesson on Genoese DOP basil pesto will begin. Then, we'll head down to the kitchen to make focaccia or gnocchi. The tasting will be accompanied by a chilled local white wine.
