Overview

Explore the Route of the Centolla and Sabores del Mar, a journey through the southernmost landscapes and traditions of Tierra del Fuego. From Ushuaia, I tour the glacial valleys of Olivia and Carbajal, stopping at natural viewpoints to admire the mountains, peatlands and beaver trees.

We stop in Haruwen, where you can taste local artisan gin, before continuing to the quiet Victoria Lagoon, a water mirror surrounded by native forest ideal to enjoy the calm of the environment.

Finally, we arrive at Puerto Almanza, a small fishing village on the Beagle Channel, where life revolves around the sea. There you enjoy a lunch with fresh centolla and local seafood, accompanied by guides who share the stories and flavours of the end of the world.

Following the iconic “Route of the Centolla”, we enter the village and walk along its only street, until we reach the dock where the boat awaits us. After the excursion, we headed to a local fisherman’s restaurant, where we enjoyed lunch with fresh produce from the region. Between talks and pleasant moments, we share the experiences before embarking on the return to the city.
