This is a real Northern Lights hunt, led by a local team from Rovaniemi. All of our guides are locals. They do the driving, know Lapland's roads and weather, and live for nights like this.
If we do not capture the Northern Lights on camera during your tour, you get a full refund.
THE CHASE: NO FIXED ROUTE
Every night is a new hunt. No two tours are the same.
We track cloud cover, solar activity and road conditions right up to departure.
Then we chase the clear sky, wherever it is. If it is 120 km away, we go there.
When needed, we cross the border into Sweden.
YOUR NIGHT, CAPTURED
Your guide is a trained photographer who shoots the whole night with professional camera gear.
You and the aurora in the same frame, under the Arctic sky.
You get every photo from the tour in digital format afterwards, at no extra cost.
WARM UP UNDER THE STARS
Hot berry juice and cookies are waiting at the viewing spot while we watch the sky together.
DURATION AND START TIME
The tour usually lasts 3-8 hours.
We do not watch the clock. If staying out longer improves your chances, we stay.
Start time is usually between 18:00 and 20:00, depending on the forecast.
We confirm the exact time by email at 15:00 on the day of the tour.
LANGUAGES
Our guides speak English.
All tour information is also available in Spanish, French, Chinese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Turkish and Japanese.
GOOD TO KNOW
Which night should I book?
Book your first night in Rovaniemi. If the weather cancels it, you still have time to join another night.
What if the weather is bad?
We do not run the tour if there is no real chance. We tell you by email on the day of the tour.
How do I get my photos?
We send them to your email the day after the tour.
A NOTE FROM OUR TEAM
“You have one night, maybe two. We treat every tour as if it were our only chance too. After years of guiding under this sky, we know how much the first sighting means. And when the lights appear, we are as excited as you are.”
Local team. A real hunt. Professional photos included. 100% money back if we do not capture the aurora on camera.
