Know before you book

  • At least 2 people are required for this product to take place.
  • Hotel Pickup / Drop Off is available from most centrally located Rovaniemi hotels/apartments within a 10 km Radius.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Infant under 4 are complimentary.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time.
  • Remember to take your driving licence (or a copy of it) with you on the Snowmobile trip.
  • 14 Years old or younger kids will always be taken by sledge by our guides.

What you can expect

Driving a snowmobile to the frozen lake in the forest is one of the best activities you can try in Lapland. You can get closer to the beautiful scenery of the Arctic, crossing the frozen lake and the forests. These are all impossible to do by a car.

Ice fishing is a unique way to enjoy the natural environment. Drill a hole in the ice lake, wait for the Arctic fish, and experience the traditional Sami lifestyle. We will make a bonfire on the snow and prepare fish soup and smoked salmon with Lappish bread at the same time.

You will drive the Snowmobile in pairs (Twin Driving), one driver and one passenger on each Snowmobile, with opportunity to switch places during the trip. Before the tour you can buy a Solo driver supplement. Choose what is better for you and enjoy the time in Lapland!
