The adventure begins at a hidden gem in District 1, where you’ll dive into a steaming bowl of Bún Bò Huế, a rich and flavourful beef noodle soup. Prefer chicken or pork? No problem—there’s something for everyone! Next, try Chuoi Nuong, Vietnam’s top dessert: coconut milk grilled plantain, sweet and salty with coconut milk sauce, tapioca, and toasted sesame.

You’ll continue to the vibrant Nguyễn Thiện Thuật area for Bánh Khọt, crispy savoury pancakes topped with shrimp, served with fresh herbs and dipping sauce. After a short walk to the flower and Cambodian markets, you’ll sample BBQ beef wrapped in betel leaf, fresh spring rolls, grilled oysters (or Vietnamese pizza if you prefer), and local snacks like banana or coconut crackers.

Refresh yourself with cold sugarcane juice with kumquat before hopping in a taxi to District 10, where the tour culminates at a famous local hangout. Here, you’ll enjoy Saigon’s iconic Bánh Mì, the city’s best-known baguette, and finish with classic desserts like egg and milk flan or sweet black bean soup, along with iced jasmine tea and cold Saigon beer.

1. Bun Bo Hue: noodle soup, which is not a Pho, that dish you can find anywhere.

Broth Ingredients: lemongrass, beef bones, pineapple, shrimp paste.

1. Chuoi Nuong - No1 Dessert in Vietnam : Coconut milk grilled plantain, which is a bit sweet and salty, with coconut milk sauce, tapioca, toasted sesame seeds.
2. Banh Khot (savoury crispy pancakes) served with a lot of herbs, salad and special dipping sauce.
   Ingredients: Rice flour, egg, coconut milk, turmeric powder, Shrimp, pork, bean sprouts, mung beans.
   Served with: Mustard greens, lettuce, Thai basil, purple mint, ambarella leaf, fish sauce.
3. BBQ Beef wrapped in betel leaf.
   Served with: Vermicelli, rice paper, green banana, star fruit, fish sauce with pineapple.
4. Spring Roll: fresh rolls with peanut sauce.
   Ingredients: Rice paper, shrimp, pork, green salad.
5. Baked egg in cup.
6. Banana or coconut cracker: The city’s most famous local snack made from egg whites whipped with sugar and sesame seeds, or ginger, or banana.
7. Cold cane juice with kumquat, a kind of lemon - the most popular juice in Vietnam.
8. Saigon’s Signature Baguette (Bánh Mì): the best-known baguette in the world, with sausage, pâté, meat, pickled vegetables (and coriander). It’s Vietnam’s #1 street food.
