Located at the mouth of the Carreras River, within the Marismas de Isla Cristina Natural Park, the Salinas del Duque represent one of the most unique ecosystems on the Huelva coast. During the route, participants kayak through natural canals surrounded by native vegetation and fauna characteristic of the marshes, such as waterfowl and species adapted to this saline environment.
The experience begins with a short briefing by qualified instructors, who explain the basics of kayaking, safety, and the dynamics of the activity. This approach makes the route accessible even for people with no prior experience, allowing them to enjoy it from the very start with confidence and peace of mind. In addition, all the necessary equipment is included, along with civil liability and accident insurance, ensuring a safe and professional activity.

Beyond the sporting component, the route has a strong interpretive character. The tour guides accompany the group throughout the tour, providing information about the ecosystem, the history of the old salt flats, and the environmental importance of the area. This way, the activity is not only enjoyable, but also educational, raising awareness about the conservation of these natural areas.

The duration and pace of the route are designed to promote a relaxed experience, where the connection with the environment is prioritised, with stops to observe the landscape or simply to be carried away by the tranquility of the surroundings.
