In this unique workshop, you will learn authentic Japanese sword choreography (Tate), the dynamic performance style seen in samurai films and stage productions.
Guided by professional performers from Tokyo Kenbukai “Shidenryu,” you will learn the fundamentals of movement, posture, timing, and partner coordination. This is a small-group experience designed to provide personalised guidance rather than a large, crowded class.
You will practice essential techniques and gradually build up to performing a short duel scene, just like in a real samurai film.
