To kick off our food journey, we’ll refresh ourselves with aguas frescas, traditional Mexican drinks made from fresh fruits, herbs, or flowers, blended with water and a touch of sweetness. From tangy hibiscus (jamaica) to sweet and cooling horchata, these drinks are the perfect way to begin our flavourful adventure!

At this stop, we’ll enjoy enchiladas de mole, a beloved Mexican dish featuring corn tortillas stuffed with tender chicken or beef, smothered in a rich, velvety mole sauce. Made with a perfect blend of chillies, chocolate, and spices, this sauce adds a deep, complex flavour that pairs perfectly with the savoury filling. Topped with fresh cheese, onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, each bite is a true taste of Mexican tradition!

At this stop, we will dive into birria, a rich, slow-cooked stew from Jalisco. Made with tender, marinated meat and a blend of chillies and spices, birria is celebrated for its bold, savoury flavours. Served with fresh onions, coriander, and a squeeze of lime, this dish is a true taste of Mexican tradition.

At this stop, we’ll explore a vibrant local market, where you’ll get a first-hand look at the fresh ingredients that form the heart of Mexican cuisine. Stroll through colourful stalls overflowing with a variety of vegetables, exotic fruits, and a stunning array of dried and fresh chillies. You’ll also have the chance to witness the traditional process of tortilla making, as locals press and cook fresh tortillas right before your eyes—an essential part of every Mexican meal!

At this stop, we will enjoy sopes topped with carnitas, a delicious duo that highlights traditional Mexican street food. Sopes are thick, hand-pressed corn cakes with a slight crisp, layered with refried beans, fresh lettuce, and crumbled cheese. Topping it all off are juicy, tender carnitas—slow-cooked, flavourful pork that melts in your mouth. Each bite offers a perfect blend of textures and rich, authentic flavours!

At this stop, we’ll indulge in one of Mexico’s most iconic dishes—tacos. These soft corn tortillas are filled with a variety of savoury meats, from grilled steak to slow-cooked carnitas or spicy chorizo, and topped with fresh onions, coriander, and a squeeze of lime. A true taste of Mexico in every bite!

At this stop, we’ll indulge in paletas, a refreshing Mexican ice pop made from fresh fruit, creamy milk, or even chocolate. With a variety of flavours to choose from, including mango, strawberry, and coconut, each bite offers a cool, sweet treat that’s perfect for finishing off your tour with a burst of flavour!
