What you can expect

  • Discover the fascinating Che Guevara Route in Bolivia on this 2-day, 1-night tour. Relive the footsteps of Ernesto “Che” Guevara from his arrival to his final moments. The tour begins in Vallegrande (or Santa Cruz), a key city in the storey of Che's death.

    On the first day, explore Vallegrande, visiting the moving Che Memorial (where he was found), the guerrillas' grave, the “Señor de Malta” Hospital (morgue), the Che Route Museum, and other cultural points of interest. Enjoy the local cuisine with vegetarian and gourmet options. The evening is free for you to explore or enjoy an optional folk music show.

    The second day takes you to La Higuera, 61 km from Vallegrande, where you'll visit the little school, the Quebrada del Churo (the site of Che's last battle and capture), Jaguey, and the telegraph operator's house.
