Below is the itinerary for the Sapa Trekking Tour 2D1N – Local Villages, Rice Terraces & Homestay
Day 1: Sapa - Suoi Ho - Ma Tra - Ta Phin (L, D, Homestay)
8:30 am: Meet our local guide at the meeting point and depart the trek to Suoi Ho. Suoi Ho, located about 2 km from SaPa centre, still retains its pristine beauty and poetic scenery. The Black Hmong is one of the largest ethnic minority groups in the Sa Pa area. They take pride in their culture and maintain their traditions and way of life. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo clothing. The locals still preserve ethnic decorations in their homes, such as wooden bells for buffalo necks or ancient horns.
11:30 am: Lunch at local restaurant. You will have lunch in Ma Tra village with special local dishes. Here, you also have the opportunity to learn about the artichoke plant, which is widely cultivated by the villagers. Artichokes not only provide health benefits but also bring high income to the villagers.
2:30 pm: Arrive at Ta Phin Village. Ta Phin Village, located 15 km from SaPa centre, is an attractive destination that draws visitors from all over. This village, with its long history and traditional architecture, is nestled among limestone mountains. Visitors can explore the unique culture of Ta Phin and experience the hospitality of the local community. The village is known for its vibrant and colourful textiles made from flax and cotton, and the local Red Dao people are known for their herbal bath traditions. Then, visit the ancient Ta Phin Monastery to hear interesting stories here. Ta Phin is an ideal destination to discover and immerse yourself in the unique local culture.
4:00 pm: Arrive at a local homestay where you will stay overnight.
6:00 pm: Dinner and end of day 1
Day 2: Ta Phin - Trung Chai - Sa Pa (B,L)
8:30 am: Depart for Trung Chai. Trung Chai, located about 15 km from SaPa centre, is a peaceful village where the Black Hmong and Red Dao people live together. The terraced valley here, with its beauty changing with each season, creates enchanting natural landscapes. The local people are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Upon arriving in Trung Chai, you will walk through beautiful paths, admiring the majestic and poetic scenery of this area.
12:00 pm: Lunch time
1:30 pm: Shuttle bus back to Sa Pa
3:00 pm: Depart for Hanoi and end of the 2-day, 1-night itinerary in Sapa
