What you can expect

Take a tour with a licensed museum guide of Schindler's factory, featured in Stephen Spielberg's oscar-winning film “Schindler's List.” Learn about the storey of a German entrepreneur who helped many Jews throughout the war.

Then, walk through the streets of Podgórze and see the evidence of the terrible events that took place during the Second World War. See a part of the undestroyed wall around the ghetto, houses where thousands of displaced Jews used to live, the pharmacy “Under the Eagle”, and the Empty Chair Monument in the Heroes' Square, with its symbolic 68 chairs.

Next, begin the second half of the tour and be driven to Wieliczka, a small town 10 kilometres from Krakow. Visit one of the largest old salt mines in Europe and explore it at your own pace without a guide. The depth of the 700-year-old mine is 340 metres, the total length of corridors and tunnels is over 245 kilometres.
