The Prado beaches in Marseille, located in the 8th arrondissement, stretch along approximately 3.5 kilometres of coastline, providing a popular seaside area for locals and tourists alike. Its history dates back to 1214, when Pierre, a priest, built a first chapel there dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
