Discover Setúbal, a vibrant Portuguese port city where history, daily life, and local flavours come together. Join Anna, an experienced guide with 15 years in the profession, for a relaxed 2-hour walking tour through the historic centre—an area whose street layout has remained largely unchanged for more than 300 years.

As you stroll through Setúbal’s old streets, you’ll explore key moments from the city’s past and connect them to what local life looks like today. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to admire architectural details, including elements of Portuguese Gothic style. Depending on the day of the week and opening schedules, the route may include visits to churches, adding another layer of culture and atmosphere to the walk.

A highlight of the experience is a stop at Mercado do Livramento, considered one of Europe’s most famous markets. You’ll explore the variety of fresh produce and seafood and receive guidance and insights like a local—plus a tasting of local wine to round out the culinary side of the tour.

This experience is designed to be welcoming and flexible: children and pets are allowed.
The tour is conducted in Russian.
