What you can expect

Delve into Seville on a cultural tour designed to discover some of the most representative places in its historic centre and understand the imprint left on the city by the different stages of its history.

The experience focuses on the monumental surroundings of Seville, a city marked by its Islamic, Christian, Jewish, commercial, and Atlantic past. During the tour, you'll learn how the ancient Andalusian Isbiliya evolved into one of the great historic cities of Andalusia.

The tour can start around the Guadalquivir, a key river for understanding Seville's relationship with trade, navigation, and the city's expansion. From there, the itinerary heads towards some of the most emblematic spaces in the historic centre, combining cultural explanations, photo stops, and time to enjoy the local atmosphere.

One of the main points will be the exterior surroundings of the Royal Alcazar of Seville, linked to the city's Islamic, Mudejar, and Christian history. The visit is outside, with no admission ticket included, to learn about its historical importance and its relationship with the former political heart of Seville.

You'll also discover the surroundings of Seville Cathedral and the Giralda, two of the city's great symbols. During the stop, the evolution of the space will be explained, from its past as a former main mosque to its transformation into one of the most recognised monumental complexes in Andalusia.

The tour continues through the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish Quarter of Seville, known for its narrow streets, hidden squares, courtyards, white facades, and corners full of history. It's one of the most photogenic and evocative areas of the Old Town, ideal for a leisurely stroll to understand the cultural mix that defines the city.

Depending on the pace of the group and the conditions on the day, the itinerary may include other points of interest in the historic centre, urban vantage points, traditional squares, or areas near the river. There will also be some free time to eat, have a drink, shop, rest, or explore on your own.

Throughout the experience, you'll receive support, guidance, and general cultural explanations to better understand Seville and its historical legacy.
