The guests will be picked up at 07:00 from Mombasa and 08:00 from Diani. You will drive for about an hour from Diani and about an hour and half from Mombasa. You will arrive and start the safari game drive until 10:00. The driver guide will then ask if any of the guests want to visit the sheldrick falls, which is optional and part of the programme. If you say yes, you will be accompanied by a ranger to the 21 metre high fall which is laced with lianas and greenery and has a natural plunge pool. water fall which is about 4 kilometre walk to and from. We strongly recommend the water fall visit to the physically fit only. The shimba hills landscape is hilly and not even so descending to the water fall is generally easy however ascending is strenuous for the physically unfit. Incase you are not visiting the water fall, you will continue with the game drive until lunch time. You will have lunch at the shimba hills lodge within Kenya's coastal rain forest. During the lunch time you will have a chance to see the African bush baby. After lunch you will continue with an afternoon safari game drive until 4pm, then exit the park and drive back to your booked hotel.
