Know before you book
- This tour only operates when there is a cruise-ship in port (May - September). Please refer to calendar for availability. You can start your tour at any of the stops. We recommend you join us from the Cruise Terminal at Stop 1
- First departure from Stop 1 at 10am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Duration: 30 minutes. Frequency: every 60 minutes. Timings are dependant on cruise ship arrival
- Mobile and paper vouchers are accepted for this tour and are valid for 12 months from the travel date selected at check-out - ideal for cruise passengers! Mobile vouchers must be redeemed at Bus Stop 1 (Cruise Ship Terminal). Paper vouchers can be redeemed at any of the stops along the route
- You will need to exchange your voucher for your hop-on hop-off ticket with the City Sightseeing staff or bus driver before or upon boarding the bus. Keep the ticket with you at all times. There are other operators, so make sure you travel with buses marked with the City Sightseeing official stamp
- Accessibility: Buses are wheelchair accessible, with storage for collapsible wheelchairs and strollers. Boarding may require a ramp or a step, and several steps are needed to access the upper deck. Subject to space and availability
- The audio guide is available via in-seat modules or directly on your own device in several different languages. Please bring your own headset for the best experience. Turn on the location services from your provider, scan the QR code on the seat/brochure and press play to start
- If needed, headsets with jack sticks and adapters for iPhone and Android are available to borrow - please return them for recycling. Audio guide languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Italian (In-Seat Modules and Bring Your Own Device)
- Dates with possible disruptions: 1st May (Labour Day parades and demonstrations), 17th May (Norwegian Constitution Day - major parades and likely full closure of the village centre). Throughout 2026: possible roadworks, infrastructure upgrades or temporary traffic closures
