IMPORTANT: EXCLUSIVE TOUR FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS.

This shore excursion tour is exclusively for cruise passengers with limited time on the island, starting only after the ship's arrival to ensure a complete experience. The order of the itinerary may vary depending on the weather, always with the aim of benefiting the customer.

As you step off your ship, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our friendly and knowledgeable local guide inside the cruise terminal, holding a sign with “iGoAzores” on it. From the very first moment, prepare to be enchanted by the natural beauty of São Miguel.

Your journey begins with a visit to the Santo António Pineapple Plantation, where you’ll explore the greenhouses, learn about the traditional cultivation process, and enjoy a tasting of fresh pineapple and local pineapple liqueur — a unique introduction to one of the island’s sweetest traditions.

Next, embark on a scenic drive through the picturesque Sete Cidades volcano, revealing panoramic views of São Miguel’s lush landscapes on your way to the Vista do Rei viewpoint. At the iconic Sete Cidades vista point, you’ll be amazed by the dramatic contrast of the Blue and Green Lakes nestled within a dormant volcanic crater — a truly mesmerising view and perfect photo opportunity.

We then make a stop in the village centre of Sete Cidades, allowing time to visit the neo-Gothic São Nicolau Church and experience the charm of this historic community.

Before returning to Ponta Delgada, the tour includes a stop at the Miradouro do Escalvado, offering spectacular views over the Ilhéus dos Mosteiros and the village of Mosteiros, beautifully situated on a lava-fan coastline. This is the perfect spot to capture the final breathtaking photos of the day.

As the tour concludes, we’ll ensure you are returned to your cruise ship on time, your heart full of memories from São Miguel’s incredible landscapes.

Our Shore Excursion to Sete Cidades, combined with the pineapple plantation and scenic village stops, is the perfect way to make the most of your time in São Miguel, leaving you with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for this Azorean gem.
