This cooking class takes place on a regenerative farm in the countryside near Noto, within a protected natural area shaped by olive trees, carobs, and Mediterranean landscapes.
It is not a standard cooking lesson, but an immersive experience rooted in land, seasonality, and everyday Sicilian rural life.
After meeting at the designated point, we will reach Three Farms Island by car in just a few minutes, driving through the surrounding countryside. Here, the experience begins with the ingredients, not the recipes.
You will walk through the farm together with the hosts, discovering how food is shaped by the land, the seasons, and traditional agricultural practices. The cooking class follows an ingredients-first philosophy: what we cook depends on what the farm and nearby producers offer at that moment.
Using fresh, seasonal ingredients coming directly from our gardens or from small neighbouring farms, you will cook traditional Sicilian dishes step by step. Simple preparations that are deeply rooted in Sicilian home cooking and difficult to find elsewhere in Italy.
This is a fully hands-on cooking experience. You will actively prepare the dishes, learn practical techniques, and understand how simplicity, balance, and seasonality are at the heart of Sicilian cuisine.
Once the cooking is complete, the experience continues at the table. The meal is shared in an intimate and relaxed setting, where conversation and time flow naturally.
During the meal, you will taste the farm’s cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and wines produced on the property, such as Nero d’Avola or Inzolia, followed by homemade limoncello.
The hosts live and work on the farm, combining agriculture with hospitality for many years. This creates an atmosphere that is personal, informal, and deeply connected to daily rural life.
