What you can expect

  • Launch from Turtle Beach on Siesta Key and set off on a guided paddle into Sarasota’s coastal mangroves and secluded shoreline. This relaxed, two-hour kayak adventure is designed for beginners and nature lovers, with calm waters and an easy pace that lets you focus on the scenery.

Follow your local guide through winding mangrove tunnels and narrow passages where the branches form natural corridors above the water. As you glide along, learn how mangroves protect the coastline and create a thriving habitat for coastal wildlife. Keep watch for birds, fish, and other native species that live among the roots and shallow waters.

Between the mangrove sections, enjoy open, tranquil stretches and reach quiet beach areas that many visitors never find on their own. There’s time to take in the views, ask questions, and snap photos before turning back towards Turtle Beach.

End your tour with a deeper appreciation for Siesta Key’s wild side—an easy, scenic outing that blends exploration, education, and a chance to discover hidden beaches from the water.
