Overview

  • Three of Lebanon's most iconic destinations — one guided day from Beirut. Jeita Grotto is a UNESCO tentative World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature finalists — 9 kilometres of limestone cave system with some of the most extraordinary stalactite and stalagmite formations on earth. Harissa sits 650 metres above the Mediterranean, reached by cable car, crowned by the 8.5-metre bronze statue of Our Lady of Lebanon. Byblos has been continuously inhabited for over 7,000 years — the city that gave the world its alphabet and whose name gave us the word Bible. Lunch at a sea-view restaurant in Byblos and all tickets included.
Underground caves, a mountaintop shrine, and one of the oldest cities ever built — three registers of Lebanese geography and history that no other single day trip combines as well as this one.

Jeita Grotto

  • 1h 30m
  • Admission ticket included
Jeita Grotto — UNESCO tentative site · New 7 Wonders finalist Two cave systems, two completely different experiences. The upper cave on foot — an elevated walkway through formations of extraordinary scale and beauty, stalactites and stalagmites up to 8 metres tall carved by water over millions of years. The lower cave by silent electric boat — gliding along an underground river through chambers where the stillness is absolute. Your guide covers the geological storey throughout. One of the most memorable natural experiences in the Middle East — and 30 minutes from Beirut.

Téléferique Harissa

  • 20m
  • Admission ticket not included

The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon

  • 30m
Our Lady of Lebanon — the mountaintop shrine The 8.5-metre bronze statue of Our Lady of Lebanon stands with arms outstretched towards the Mediterranean — one of the most visited religious monuments in the Middle East, surrounded by the Maronite Basilica and neighbouring churches. Revered by Christians and Muslims alike. Your guide explains the history and significance of Harissa within Lebanese religious and cultural identity.

Byblos Castle

  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
Byblos Castle & archaeological site — 7,000 years in one walk The 12th-century Crusader castle was built from recycled Phoenician and Roman stones — civilisations literally embedded in the walls. The archaeological site inside covers Neolithic foundations from 5000 BC, Bronze Age temples, Phoenician royal tombs, and Roman streets. Byblos gave the world its alphabet — the Phoenician script from which Greek, Latin, and eventually all Western alphabets derive. Your guide traces the full arc of human settlement on this remarkable coastal site.

Byblos

  • 1h
Lunch in Byblos — sea-view restaurant · included Fresh Lebanese mezze and seafood at a sea-view restaurant in Byblos — the ancient fishing harbour directly in front of you, the Mediterranean beyond. One of the best lunch settings in Lebanon. Fully included in the tour price.

Old Souk

  • 30m
Byblos Old Souk — stone-paved lanes above an ancient port Stone-paved lanes with jewellery workshops, antique dealers, and cafés — then down to the ancient fishing harbour where colourful wooden boats sit against a backdrop of medieval walls and open sea.
