What you can expect

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Negombo @ 8.00 AM. You'll drive 2.5 hours to arrive at Dambulla cave temple; the visit will be about 45 minutes with an easy climb to the top of Dambulla rock. *It's optional to take a coffee/drink break half way through the journey.

Sigiriya is about 30 minutes from Dambulla caves. You'll climb Sigiriya as the second activity of the day. It'll take about 2 hours to complete the visit.

You'll then rent a Safari jeep to go to the Safari park (The park will depend on the time of the year, it can be Minneriya, Kaudulla or Eco park). You will do a game drive for Elephants in the park and return back to the car.

Your drive back home will be about 3 hours but you can take a proper coffee/drink break half way through the return journey.
