What you can expect

We offer Half day Inshore fishing trips as well as Full day Offshore tuna fishing charters in False Bay, Cape Town.

Our boat, Seas The Day, departs from the False Bay Yacht Club dock in Simon’s Town. Our Boat will be ready for your arrival and our very experienced skipper, Peter McFarlane, will welcome you on board.

All equipment, rods, reels, bait and lures are on board for your use.

Once you are out at sea, Peter will assist you with casting and trolling lines, as well as offering any advice on the best methods to catch fish.

Our half day charter lasts for approximately 4-5 hours. The trip will take guests into False Bay and up to Cape Point, a maximum of 5 miles offshore. Using a variety of fishing techniques, our clients will be shown how to fish for a variety of fish, including Shad, Yellowtail, Cape Bream and Snoek.

Our full day charter lasts approximately 8-10 hours and aims mainly at fishing for tuna. The trip takes our clients up to 40 nautical miles off Cape Point to the rich fishing grounds, where the possibility of catching a variety of tuna fish is high.

Our trips are memorable and fun for almost all ages.
Family and friend groups are welcome.
