Our destination is the historic Kom Monastery, located on a secluded island and accessible only by boat. After arriving, a pleasant 15-minute walk leads to the monastery, offering beautiful views along the way. Built in the 15th century by the Crnojević dynasty, Kom Monastery is one of Montenegro’s most important medieval monuments. Dedicated to the Mother of Christ, it preserves remarkable frescoes, historic architecture, and centuries of spiritual heritage.
From the monastery terrace, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Skadar Lake, the surrounding mountains, and the untouched wilderness stretching to the horizon. This viewpoint is considered one of the most beautiful on the lake and offers the perfect opportunity for memorable photographs.
