What you can expect

Florence’s famed cathedral is known for its stunning exterior and impressive size, but its beautifully designed interior is also a sight to behold. You will begin your tour by immediately bypassing the long line into the Duomo with our special no-wait access agreement. Once in the church, you will be awed by the cavernous, vaulting ceilings and the impressive stained-glass windows that adorn the building. It was a short tour and the interior of the church was disappointing. The beautiful facade does not match the interior. It was interesting to visit the area under the church which shows the ruins of the original church. I found the Santa Croce church much more interesting and beautiful. In addition that church houses the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Rossini and Machiavellio.

It was crowded and confusing on arrival at the meeting point, as we couldn’t find anyone with a red flag, so we waited in the red line, only to be told we had to go back and pick up tickets from someone with an orange flag, where we also needed to all present all our phones to each download the audio guide. We had to queue again and ended up getting in half an hour late. However the museum and audio guide were interesting, especially the statue of David.

This is a good tour for skip the line with such a long line to wait in. The 30-minute tour and tour guide allowed us to see this beautiful church in a short amount of time and the guide helped us to understand all the beautiful paintings and other stories that tell you how the church was built and designed over the years.

This was a nice peek inside the Duomo and we did get to skip the line and get in on time. We chose to just see the inside of the church, and the guide told us the history and pointed out the different artworks etc. inside. She also explained how no one still can figure out how the dome was made. Was a good tour and definitely worth it.

It’s a very short tour. There’s not a lot of “fun facts” provided by the tour guide. Albeit, she’s very nice and friendly, the cost of the tour is not equal to the service rendered. The only “pro” to this tour is being able to skip the long lines outside the Duomo.

Was very confusing, talked to different people at different entrances and was told to go to different locations. Some doors didn't even have someone to help guide to the correct location. Ended up missing my tour. After that it was a nightmare to just even get in. The entire cathedral was so unorganized.

Brilliant! Simple process, easy to find the guide, great equipment and a wonderful breadth of knowledge, could have spent all day with the guide, she knew everything! Definitely worth skipping the line as the tickets sold out so quickly and the queues were huge. We booked a couple of weeks in advance and it really made the whole experience so much better and stress free, recommend it!
