Activity itinerary

La Alcaidesa (Pass by)
La Alcaidesa & Playa de la Hacienda (30-40 minutes) We start our tour by coasting quietly in front of the beaches of La Alcaidesa and La Hacienda, north of La Linea. These calm waters offer a spectacular panoramic view of the coastline, perfect for enjoying a drink on board as we get away from the bustle. Travellers will be able to gaze at the gentle hills that flow into almost unspoilt beaches, hopefully even spotting dolphins at the start of the journey.
Playa de la Atunara (Pass by)
As we skirt the coast, we pass the picturesque seafaring district of La Atunara, with its coloured boats and traditional atmosphere. Here you can see fishing history and local culture, and you can see the contrast between the urban coastline of La Linea and the greatness of the open ocean. The aroma of salt and tradition accompanies this part of the journey, where we usually sail somewhat closer to the coast.
Upper Rock Nature Reserve (Pass by)
We sail under the imposing silhouette of the Rock of Gibraltar, an unforgettable experience from the sea. This part of the tour offers the best views for unique photographs of the famous rocky promontory from its east face. You will be able to observe the marine life that is concentrated near the coast of the Rock and, if conditions permit, we will see the change of colour of the water as we approach the Strait.
Sikorski Memorial (Pass by)
We made a scenic roundabout around Punta Europa, the southernmost point of the Rock. From here the Strait of Gibraltar opens up before us, with Africa at the bottom on clear days. This is one of the magical moments of the tour, where sea, wind and history combine. In addition to lighthouses and fortresses, it is a regular spot for migratory and cetacean birds, depending on season.
Algeciras (Pass by)
We enter the stunning Bay of Algeciras, sailing along an area with fascinating maritime activity. From sailboats to large freighters, this area offers a unique insight into the region’s port dynamism. However, there are also quiet stretches where nature resumes the limelight, and where the silence of the sailboat connects you to the sea. Here we enjoy a last relaxed stretch before embarking on the way back.
