Trust me when I say I understand that feeling of being alone in a city without knowing anyone. Sometimes, even when we want to practice the language, it's hard to find people to talk to.

I think the best experience you could get about travelling is to discover different people, food, landscapes, architecture and culture. But sadly, sometimes the language barrier is a handicap.
