What you can expect

  • We will pick you up from your hotel or another location in Kandy and bring you to the village kitchen in the host's home. After a welcome drink, you will start cooking simplified Sri Lankan recipes that are easy to understand and recreate.

    You will learn about Sri Lankan cuisine and the menu of the day, then prepare five vegetable dishes, one protein dish, and a selection of accompaniments in the Sri Lankan style.

    At the end of the class, you will learn to make a traditional Sri Lankan dessert. You will receive a PDF of the recipes and enjoy the meal you have cooked at Nilu's home.
