What you can expect

  • One small glass after another on the way to becoming a beer connoisseur

Starting at one of Dortmund's oldest bakeries, Dortmund comedian Fritze provides the perfect foundation for this extraordinary sightseeing KULTour, which takes you through Dortmund's city centre, with a pretzel.

Passing by some of the most beautiful landmarks, you will get to know the city with heart
and you will become a true beer connoisseur during the guided tasting of three different “Stösschen” – both theoretically and practically!

So you'll not only learn where in the city centre the world-famous breweries such as Kronen, Union and Thier had their origins, but also why they had their birthplace right here.

This KULTour city tour ends at a quintessential pub in the heart of the city with an invitation to enjoy one last “Stösschen” (small beer).

    What else you will experience:
Dortmund Originals I: How the bagel made its way to the USA
Dortmund Originals II: How a clever innkeeper invented the “Stösschen”
Dortmund Originals III: From the “Ghost Goal” Scorer to “Emma”
