Next, visit Zaanse Schans, an outdoor museum including wooden homes, shops, and operational windmills from the 18th and 19th centuries. Visit the Clog Museum to observe traditional craftsmanship and wooden shoemakers in action. Learn the craft of making cheese in the Netherlands and sample some cheeses by visiting a cheese farm called Catharina Hoeve.

Volendam is a charming village to the northeast of Amsterdam. It is one of the most picturesque places in Holland. It’s known for its colourful wooden houses and the old fishing boats in its harbour, which is lined with seafood vendors.

Keukenhof is the largest flower garden in the world. Millions of bulbs are planted in the 32 hectares of gardens and 15 kilometres of walkways throughout this visit. The grounds are covered in a multitude of vividly coloured spring bulbs, including tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and others. Explore the historical garden, the Japanese garden, and the English garden. At the Keukenhof Gardens, you will receive your skip-the-line entrance tickets which are included in this excursion. Before entering, the tour guide or your driver/guide will provide an introduction to Keukenhof and the storey behind it. You can then self-explore the gardens and pavilions at your leisure.
