The activity begins and ends at Passo Pordoi (2,239 m), where the meeting point is scheduled for the early morning hours. The time varies depending on sunrise and will be communicated the day before. After a short briefing, we will set off on an easy hike along scenic trails in the Belvedere area, immersed in the silence and colours of the dawn.
The route is suitable for people with minimal experience of mountain hiking and has a moderate elevation gain of about 150m. During the hike, we will admire some of the most spectacular views of the Dolomites, with views of the Marmolada, the Sella Group and the Sassolungo, and witness the evocative phenomenon of the alpenglow, when the mountains are tinged with pink and red in the first light of day.
At the end of the hike, a hearty breakfast is included at the Fredarola Mountain Hut, located in a panoramic position at an altitude of about 2,370 m, along the famous Viel del Pan trail. After breakfast, we will return leisurely to Passo Pordoi, where the experience will conclude.
Trekking boots or mountain shoes, warm layered clothing, a windbreaker jacket, and a water bottle are recommended. A minimum number of people is required for the activity to run, and it is cancelled in the event of adverse weather forecasts. In the event of cancellation by the organiser or due to an insufficient number of participants, the activity will be fully refunded.
