On Day 1, you will travel to the Lumajang region to visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, often called the “Niagara of Indonesia.” After arriving at the parking area, you will walk and trek down to the waterfall viewpoints. Surrounded by lush green cliffs, Tumpak Sewu offers a dramatic panoramic view and a refreshing atmosphere. Guests will have time to explore the area, take photos, and enjoy the natural beauty before continuing the journey towards the Bromo area for an overnight stay.
Day 2 starts very early in the morning with a classic Mount Bromo sunrise experience. You will transfer to a 4x4 jeep and head to one of the best sunrise viewpoints inside Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. As the sun rises, you’ll witness Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru creating an unforgettable volcanic panorama. After sunrise, the jeep adventure continues across the Sea of Sand, followed by a short walk and stair climb to the rim of Bromo Crater. The journey then continues to the lush Savanna and Teletubbies Hill, where rolling green landscapes contrast beautifully with the volcanic surroundings.
After returning to the hotel for breakfast and check-out, you will begin the scenic drive towards the Ijen area in Banyuwangi. This long but comfortable journey allows you to rest in preparation for the midnight hike. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and rest before the final adventure.
On Day 3, shortly after midnight, you will depart for Paltuding Basecamp, the starting point for the Ijen hike. The trek to the crater takes approximately 1.5–2 hours at a steady pace. At the top, you will be rewarded with views of the famous turquoise crater lake, one of the largest acidic lakes in the world, and the surrounding volcanic landscape. After enjoying the sunrise and scenery, you will descend back to the basecamp.
