Experience the magic of surfing at one of Mexico’s top destinations for wave riders. Team up with professional instructors to get the skinny on basic surfing technique so you can tame your first wave, or simply work on your existing skills as you carve through Pacific Ocean swells.

Get picked up from your hotel and ride to Huatulco's golden sand beach to meet up with your instructor for the day. Grab a board and a wetsuit and then begin your lesson with some quick theoretical tutorials to teach you how to paddle and transition to a standing position. Next, zip up your wetsuit and paddle your way through breaking waves until you reach rolling swells ready for your first ride.

Listen to advice from your guide on which wave to chase after, and then paddle furiously to catch up, tensing your body as you stand up on your first wave and keeping your balance while cruising into shore. After each ride, your instructor provides instant feedback, helping you optimise your movements and become more confident so you can tackle big tubes and hang ten like a pro by the end of the day.
