What you can expect

  • Welcome to Tahiti Safari Islander,

We will go to the heart of the island of Tahiti. You'll be able to see beautiful mountains, waterfalls and natural pools.

You can enjoy a beautiful panorama while sitting in a new, comfortable, open-top 4x4 with local music playing in the back. If the weather is fine, we will go swimming in the natural pools, and if it rains, we will be able to enjoy the many waterfalls. We look forward to helping you discover this Polynesian treasure.

PLEASE NOTE: The road is very bumpy.
There are 37 km to travel in the mountains. The road is not paved or surfaced with concrete. If you don't feel up to it, please choose another, less demanding day trip, such as the tour of the island of Tahiti.

For your outing, please be sure to bring:

    • Towels
    • swimwear
    • Mosquito spray
    • Sandals, flip-flops (no shoes)
    • Raincoats
    • 2 litres of water
    • Your picnic (sandwiches, etc.)

At noon, we will stop at a bakery to pick up something to eat and drink. (Not included).

Itinerary of the day trip with Tahiti Safari Islander:

8:10 am: Pickup from your hotel
8:40 am: Stop at the bakery or store (meal not included; allow €5 per person)

12:30 p.m.: The day trip continues with the caldera, the volcano, the mountains, the waterfalls, the basalt tunnel, and Lake Vaihiria
3:00 PM: Exit from the valley
