Escape the city and explore some of northern Estonia’s most unusual landscapes on this day trip from Tallinn.

Begin the tour with a short coastal hike near Tallinn, where you will discover hidden remains of Peter the Great’s Naval Fortress. Walk through forest paths and explore abandoned military structures, including underground tunnels and massive concrete fortifications.

Continue to Keila waterfall, the third most powerful waterfall in Estonia, located in a scenic manor park with charming bridges and walking paths.

Drive through the coastal city of Paldiski, once a closed Soviet military town, where you can still feel the atmosphere of its industrial past.

Next, visit the dramatic Pakri coastal cliffs, rising high above the Baltic Sea. Here you will see the red Pakri lighthouse. In summer it is possible to climb to the top for panoramic views or walk to the nearby Pakri waterfall.

The final stop is the famous Rummu submerged quarry, one of the most photographed places in Estonia. Clear turquoise water has flooded the remains of a former limestone quarry and prison complex. Climb the sandy ash hills for panoramic views or explore the shoreline of this unique landscape.
