The tasting of regional, Alentejo olive oils begins with boarding at the accommodation or agreed upon location in the municipality of Ponte de Sor. Transport in a van to the local producer, where we will learn about the history of olive oil and the producer. Depending on the availability of the producer, we may visit their olive oil mill or the property where the owner resides. During the activity, you will taste between 2 to 3 different olive oils from the producer with regional bread, learn about the differences between virgin and extra virgin olive oil, and hear a life storey. After the tasting and some photographs taken during the event, we will return to the accommodation.
