We depart from Kutaisi at 07:00. Our first stop is in Surami, where we sample Georgian sweet bread known as “Nazuki.” We witness its preparation and are offered some to taste. From there, we continue to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, the religious centre of Georgia. Our next destination is Jvari Monastery, offering breathtaking views of Mtskheta, the Mtkvari, and Aragvi rivers. After Jvari, we enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant serving delicious food. Once lunch is finished, we explore the old part of Tbilisi. Our itinerary includes visiting Metekhi Church, Europe Square, the Bridge of Peace, taking a cable car ride to Narikala Fortress, viewing Legvatkhevi waterfall, and experiencing the Sulphur Baths of Tbilisi. Once the excursion concludes, we drive back to Kutaisi, arriving in the city by 22:00.
