This massive limestone staircase connects the city centre area with the upper part of the city, blending art, architecture, and sweeping views into one unforgettable experience. As we climb (or take the escalators inside), you'll pass through open-air terraces decorated with modern sculptures, fountains, and flower beds. At the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Yerevan—and on clear days, the snow-capped peak of Mount Ararat rises in the background. Inside the Cascade is the Cafesjian Centre for the Arts, home to rotating exhibits of contemporary art, glasswork, and design. Even a short visit offers plenty to see and enjoy.
