This workshop will immerse you in the fascinating world of cocoa, allowing you to discover not only its compelling history but also its cultivation and associated post-harvest processes. We will begin the hands-on workshop with a tasting of various cocoa-based drinks designed to awaken your senses and prepare you for the learning that follows.
During our first session, we will delve into the roots of cocoa, tracing its origins in the Amazon and Peru, while also touching upon its significant cultural role, especially its historical link to the Canary Islands.
Next, we will proceed with a “Bean-to-Bar” demonstration, illustrating the complete transformation of cocoa. You will see the essential stages of chocolate making in action, from roasting to conching. You will then have the opportunity to create your own chocolate bars, from manufacturing to packaging, complete with personalised labels featuring your name.
The workshop concludes with a Q&A session to clarify doubts and deepen your knowledge. Every participant will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the session. You can choose between two options: a shared group experience (maximum 8 people) or a private workshop just for your and yours.
