  • Should your travel plans change after booking, do not worry. I Asia Thailand will do all possible to change your booking to fit with your new travel arrangements free of charge.
  • Price applies only to pick-ups from Khao Lak area. Pick up is approximately 30 minutes prior to tour commencement time.
  • For pick-ups from Phuket we charge extra transfer cost 800 per passenger (return), minimum 4 passengers
  • For pick-ups from Khok Kloy we charge extra transfer cost 500 per passenger (return), minimum 4 passengers

What you can expect

This cooking class has been timed so that the Thai dishes you have prepared and cooked will be ready to enjoy for your lunch!

If you are staying in a hotel/resort in Khao Lak you will receive a complimentary pick up from the property. (Should you be staying a bit further out, such as in Phuket or Khok Kloy, a small surcharge will be required for your hotel pick up.).

Around 10.00am, before arriving at the open-air kitchen, you will be taken to a local fresh market. Whilst this is quite an experience in itself, you are at the market to select the ingredients needed to prepare three of Thailand’s favourite meals. Thai food has become world famous for the many flavours and health benefits found in every mouthful. Learn the art of Thai cooking and fruit carving so that you may enjoy these amazing foods in your home.

Our restaurant has been awarded three times with the famous Michelin Star and is in a very tranquil and nostalgic location not far away from the centre of Khao Lak. A herb garden and an original small Tin Mining museum make this area truly unique.

Your culinary creations will be…

Kung Saroong - Deep fried prawns wrapped in fresh egg noodles.
Chicken Cashew Nut - Stir fried cashew nuts, fresh vegetables and chicken in a Thai style sauce.
Panaeng Curry - Curry paste and coconut milk reduced by frying to create a thick and rich sauce.

Having enjoyed eating your self-cooked meal for Lunch, you will be transferred back to your Khao Lak hotel at approximately 2.00pm.

Tour will be provided with English speaking Chef. German speaking Chef is available but must be requested prior to tour date.

We take action to minimise the impact on plastic and pollution. No Plastic Straws are allowed. At more and more places we have the ability to refill the water bottles. No Styrofoam is used for the Lunch, etc.
