What you can expect

Take part in an exciting hike on the island of Elba. Explore the trails and dirt roads that cross the island's granite areas.

The journey through time starts from the San Piero sports field, where the last stonemasons are still engaged in granite extraction activities, and ends with a loop route in the same location.

The route is particularly interesting from a historical and archaeological point of view, as there are several ancient granite artefacts and prehistoric sites visible along the trail.

There will be no shortage of breathtaking views and the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, rich in shrubs such as fragrant rosemary, lavender, and broom.

Along the route, you will admire the Molino Moncione, one of the largest and most beautiful mills on the island of Elba, the Capanna di Marco, the most evocative and fascinating goat farm, and
the Roman columns scattered along the path.
